On april 27, H.E. Mr.WU Zexian, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China gave an interview to Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar. Mr. Ambassador Wu replied to questions about China’s economic development, diplomatic policy and Chinese positions on several major issues in Middle-East Region and in the world. Mr. WU emphasized that China’s foreign policy is based on safeguarding world peace and boosting common development, China does not seek for self-interests in international affairs, but for mutual benefit and a win-win partnership with all countries in the world. Mr. Wu also said that China takes an objective and just stance on the actual hot issue on encouraging political dialogue and supporting all initiative for its peaceful solution, which aims to follow the purposes and principles of the basic norms governing international relations and the interests of all peoples of the world.
