On June 11, H.E. Mr.WU Zexian, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Lebanon met Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education Mr.Hassan Diab. Both sides looked back to bilateral cooperation and exchange in the field of education in recent years, and expressed their satisfaction about the work done by Institute of Confucius in Lebanon. Minister Dias said, there are more and more young persons in Lebanon who would like to learn Chinese language, and also many Lebanese schools wants to give Chinese teaching class, so our two countries can enlarge the cooperation in this matter. Mr. Wu mentioned that China is willing to work along with Lebanese side, continue to enforce the educative cooperation, especially to encourage the establishment of relationship between the universities of two countries, which will offer more exchanges for teachers and students of both sides.
