On july 15th, Mr. TAN Banglin, Charge d'Affairs ad. Interim of Chinese Embassy in Lebanon, held a press conference in the Embassy on 7.5 riot in Urumqi. The conference attracted more than ten reporters from 12 leading media including Lebanese National new Agency, all the main TV & broadcasting sations in Lebanon.

Tan introduced in detail all facts including the origins, characteristics and legal actions taken by the government of 7.5 riot in Urumqi. Tan also introduced about the equal and freedom of policies on all ethnics and religion, and cleared some distorted reports on the riot by some western media. He answered some questions raised by the reporters and received an interviw by AN-Nahar, the largest Arab language newspaper in Lebanon. After the conference, the Embassy distributed some literal and video materials about 7.5 riot.
